3 Apps You Should Use for Weight Loss

Spread the love

Losing weight during this crazy year might seem impossible. Listen, it’s not going to be easy and you definitely need to dig deep to find your reason why but it’s 1 million percent possible (AND worth it!)

At the beginning of quarantine, instead of feeling down and negative, I made a list of everything I could do with the free time I now had! My commute to work was now less than a minute walk from the bedroom to the living room so I had more free time than I knew what to do with. I decided my two biggest goals were to learn a new language and to finally lose weight.

After doing some research, I found some amazing apps and programs that have now significantly improved my health and even helped me lose some weight!

Here are the 3 best apps/programs you should use to help lose weight!

Please note, these are not magical apps and programs that will lose the weight for you. You need to put in the work and find your motivation but these apps can help you do that if you’re willing to let them! Also, this post is not sponsored by any of the programs listed.

1. Noom

Noom is a weight loss program focused on the psychology of weight loss and making life-long impacts. They help you figure out the why behind your own decisions in regards to food and losing weight. The best part is you can try Noom for two-weeks FREE to see if it’s the right fit for you.

Thanks to Noom (and my next app below), I’ve been able to lose about 15 pounds since March! Plus, I have a completely different approach to food and the decisions I make on a daily basis.

2. FitOn

The FitOn app is amazing. This app has FREE workout videos with real trainers. All you have to do is put in details about what types of workouts you’re interested in, how much time you’re willing to put in to working out, and how many days you want to work out each week. With that information, the app does all but the actual workout itself for you! They’ll even send you set reminders letting you know it’s time to workout.

There’s so many options to choose from as well that you’ll never feel bored with your workouts again.

My personal favorite part of FitOn is that I can choose a workout that fits my schedule. If I only have 15 minutes to workout, I look at my workouts for the week and choose the best one!

3. Any step tracker (for me, I use Fitbit)

One of the great things I’ve learned from Noom is that walking and getting your steps in for the day is so important! Inactivity is worse for you than eating horribly so I love using my Fitbit to track how much movement I’m getting these days. Being stuck indoors is an easy excuse to not move around but it’s SO important, now more than ever.

Final Thoughts

For the first time in years, I’ve been more motivated to workout and lose weight. For me, these three apps have done wonders. They have motivated and inspired me to pursue the life I want, once again!

Which app do you think you’ll add to your daily schedule to help you?
